Their healthcare system, with more than 7,600 licensed beds, employing nearly 60,000 people and accounting for almost 12 million patient interactions each year, is continually recognized locally and nationally for our commitment to delivering efficient, quality care. The main hospital campus for CHS is located just outside uptown Charlotte.

Chester Regional Medical Center

The Chester Regional Medical Center has been serving the medical needs of Chester County with caring staff and up-to-date facilities and equipment since 1952. Having recently undergoing a $15 million expansion, the facility site consists of 82 beds acute care hospital and 100 nursing home beds, four medical office buildings and four ancillary buildings.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital

Since 1955, Fairfield Memorial Hospital has been providing the people of Fairfield County with modern medical services and the caring touch that comes from trusted friends and neighbors. Centrally located in Winnsboro, Fairfield Memorial Hospital is a full-service hospital with state-of-the-art technology that offers inpatient, respite, emergency and surgical care, as well as outpatient services, home healthcare and community outreach and education. Recently, the hospital opened The Blue Granite Medical Center, a rural health clinic which is located within the hospital.

Palmetto Health

Palmetto Health is the largest and most comprehensive integrated health care system in the South Carolina Midlands region. In addition to seven acute care hospitals, they have an expansive physician practice network, dozens of affiliated clinics and specialty care practices and a non-profit foundation. In addition, Palmetto Health is a teaching hospital, as they train the next generation of physicians through 23 residency and fellowship programs affiliated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

Providence Health

Founded as Providence Hospitals in 1938 by the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, Providence's two free standing full-service hospitals and numerous satellite practices maintain a true devotion to advanced clinical expertise and unmatched compassion. On February 2, 2016, Providence became part of the LifePoint Health network, and shortly thereafter, changed its name to Providence Health to better represent the full complement of its services.

Springs Memorial Hospital was awarded Top Performer in the U.S. on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission in four categories for numerous years, which included Heart Failure (5 years), Heart Attack (4 years), Pneumonia (5 years) and Surgical Care (5 years).

National Press Ganey Summit Award for Outstanding Core Measures

For three straight years, Springs Memorial Hospital has been the recipient of the National Press Ganey Summit Award for Outstanding Core Measures.
