York, Chester, and Lancaster County employers primarily source workers within the "Northern Labor Shed" while Fairfield and Richland County employers primarily source workers from the "Southern Labor Shed". South Carolina and I-77 Region Advantages

  • Some of the largest and most respected names in the automotive sector have facilities in South Carolina, including BMW, Daimler Trucks, Honda, Bosch, Michelin, Bridgestone, Firestone, Continental and Giti Tire
  • Over 84,000 tires are produced every day in South Carolina, as nearly 30% of all exported tires from the US come from the Palmetto State
