Find Up-to-Date, Detailed Workforce Data Online

Richburg, S.C. – Prospective employers, industrial recruiters, policy makers and site selectors who want to know more about the available talent in the SC I-77 region can now easily find up-to-date, detailed workforce data online.

The South Carolina I-77 Alliance has released a first-of-its-kind report for the four-county region stretching from Charlotte to Columbia in the Palmetto State. The new Regional Workforce Study is an 84-page report that provides in-depth analysis of the workforce a new or existing business could employ. In addition to the regional perspective, individual reports were commissioned for the Alliance counties: York, Chester, Fairfield, & Richland.

The data provides drilled-down analysis of factors such as workforce age, education, skill levels, commuter patterns, target industry alignment, and more.

Fulfilling an action item from its strategic plan, the SC I-77 Alliance worked with consultants from TIP Strategies Inc. of Austin, TX, to conduct the research and interviews that created deep-dive views of the strengths and opportunities for sustained economic vitality and growth in the I-77 corridor.

“This report provides detailed labor force information that’s now required to be competitive in business attraction and industrial recruitment,” said Rich Fletcher, President/CEO of the SC I-77 Alliance. “We’re excited to be able to provide this easily accessible, data-rich and insightful source of information.”

Christopher Finn, Director of Research and Marketing for the SC I-77 Alliance, added, “Data is power in today’s hyper-competitive marketplace for business recruitment. The information our four counties are able to provide prospective employers now puts us at an advantage.”
