Carolina Poly, Inc. expanding its Chester County operations

Manufacturer investing $25 million to increase its production capacity

CHESTER, S.C. Carolina Poly, Inc., a venture of Poly-America, one of the largest polyethylene film manufacturers in the United States, is expanding its Chester County operations. The company’s $25 million capital investment is projected to create 75 new jobs.

With sister companies and divisions across the country, Poly-America launched Carolina Poly in Chester County in 2015. The company produces several product lines, including trash bags, plastic sheeting, silage bags and shrink films.

Located at 1580 Lancaster Highway in Chester, S.C., the company will be adding to the overall manufacturing capability of the Carolina Poly facility. Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin immediately, and interested applicants should contact jobs@carolinapoly.com.
